Charging station next door

Drevsjø just got a new charging station for electric cars — about 1.5 km from the farm, a two-minute drive down the road. For anyone touring this part of Innlandet in an EV, it removes the last real bit of range anxiety in the area.

What is installed

There are two charging stations with four slots in total. Each slot has a rated output of up to 360 kW. If two cars charge simultaneously on the same station, the output is shared at up to 180 kW per car — still fast enough to take most cars from a low state of charge to comfortably onward in the time it takes to have a coffee.

The stations are managed by Eviny. You can download their app to start, monitor and pay for charging here: hurtiglading.eviny.no. If you are exploring the region, you can now rest assured that you can charge up quickly.

What to do while you charge

The charger sits right next to the local Joker general store. This is not only a food shop — they also stock clothing, fishing gear and plenty of other useful and unexpected things. Opening hours are listed on their page.

Alternatively, walk over to the cafe next door for a coffee or a proper home-made meal. Drevstua Cafe & Restaurant serves several traditional dishes made from scratch.
